Plastic-clad quartz optical fiber


Classification:

Plastic cladding quartz fiber is a multimode optical fiber with high purity and low hydroxyl quartz as the core and gas-containing acrylate resin plastic as the cladding. Its hard plastic cladding is both the cladding and the coating layer. At the same time, it can provide better moisture resistance and higher tensile strength than ordinary quartz cladding layer after adding tight sleeve structure. Therefore, the optical fiber is widely used in industry, communication field and near infrared spectrum application environment.
